A short introduction

Imagine a future engineered to be perfect, each member coexisting in perfect harmony with one other, in a miraculous world. Yusuf, a quiet and modest man, has always had dreams. One night his dreams take him to a strange place where an even stranger man dwells. Together they will embark on a journey that will not only change Yusuf's future but that of all humanity as well. This book will challenge your perceptions and leave you thinking long after the last page is read.

Author: Ali

Ali Shams is Bahraini writer born and risen in Bahrain. Bahrain is an island part of Gulf Cooperation Council which includes six other Arabic countries. This small Island has deep historic routes which goes back to the Sumerians 4000 years BC, known as Dilmun. Dilmun is described in the epic story of Enki and Ninhursag as the site at where creation occurred, and the two Gods of the Sumerians lived. The promise of Enki to Ninhursag, the Earth Mother:

"For Dilmun, the land of my lady's heart, I will create long waterways, rivers and canals, whereby water will flow to quench the thirst of all beings and bring abundance to all that lives"

The name Bahrain means the two seas, where the fresh waters of the aquifer spread around the land mingle with the salt waters of the sea surrounding the country.

Through his career Ali Shams travelled around the Middle East and North Africa region not with the pleasure seeking eye of the tourist but the observing eye of a researcher. His travels and interactions sprout the idea of his first fiction book titled "SOLO The New World Order", a story of a Platonic world that was created by scientists.

An engineer by profession and writer by passion Ali Shams got two books published after his first in 2011 and 2014, "The Lounge" three English short stories targeting the young Arab English beginners and "Al-Majalis Al-Zafaraniya" a Social Comedy written in Arabic. During that period he was working on his fourth project, a Young Adult Fiction in English, a book that gives a different look at the purpose of existence "The Transcendent"
