(A Three-Part Book Series)

1. Not Another Tear: Moving from Pain to Purpose (Poetry)

2. Not Another Tear: Inspirational Blank Writing Journal (Journal)

3. Not Another Tear: Book of Empowerment Quotes and Affirmations (Original quotes and affirmations)

Not Another Tear: Moving from Pain to Purpose is a “collection of raw, thought-provoking, and powerful poems” that unveils a well-balanced mixture of vulnerability and strength. Comprised of mostly poetry, it also has a few narratives that encompass facets of the human experience. Homelessness, rape, abandonment, abuse, fear, relationships, lust, love, loss, motherhood, abandonment, depression, hatred, forgiveness, empowerment, and success are some of the many topics found in this first installment of the Not another Tear three (3) part series. Additionally, book (1) wraps up with a bonus section that readers will likely find to be both empowering and inspirational.

Author:

Hollingsworth holds degrees in Business and Liberal Arts. She is the CEO of HollingsWord Publications and is a Recording Spoken Word Artist and Empowerment Speaker who has performed on stage at the “World Famous Apollo Theater,” The Pennsylvania Convention Center, and at other venues, delivering empowering performances and presentations. Further, Hollingsworth debuts her long-awaited three-part book series, "Not Another Tear..." Summer, 2018.

Prior to evolving into the person she is today, Hollingsworth was an insecure and depressed high school dropout and avid clubgoer, who had essentially been on her own since the age of thirteen. At age seventeen, she boarded a Greyhound bus with only five dollars in her pocket and a one-way ticket, alone and unknowingly pregnant, in search of a better life.

When she left her hometown of Aiken South Carolina and moved to Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Hollingsworth was fearful but determined, and a bit naïve. Though experiencing some bumps and bruises along the way, coupled with more homelessness, Hollingsworth eventually found that better life. She now uses her personal story—and her gifts of creative writing and empowerment speaking—to empower, as well as to entertain, those who are yet suffering from various degrees of trauma.

Hollingsworth is available for book discussions/readings/signings, spoken word performances, and empowerment speaking presentations. Book Hollingsworth today and "Get Inspired!"
