The Last Drop

FirstEditing did a fantastic job!
This is the second time I've used FirstEditing for editing one of my books. I used them a few months ago when I finished my manuscript.
My editor, Allison, did a fantastic job. Her comments and criticism, as well as her careful editing helped me shape my story and tighten the plot. After rewriting, I sent the book back to FirstEditing for a second/final polish edit. I requested a male editor for a second opinion since the book is written from a first person male point of view and I'm a female writer. Ken has done a wonderful job so far and has really helped tighten prose and reduce dialogue tags that were not needed.
I look forward to working with FirstEditing for future books and can't wait to start the publishing process.
A short introduction
Jeremy always said Space Academy was Earth's last hope. People only dream of leaving a dying planet in search of better lives. Avery never expected he would be forced to do just that.
On the heels of his brother's murder, his father's disappearance and Earth's dwindling water supply now contaminated with a deadly virus, Avery and his younger brother have no choice but to leave Earth behind and join the survivors migrating the nearest habitable planet.
What they don't know is that the rarity of water extends far beyond Earth and they aren't the only ones fighting for survival.
I am 28 years old. I work as a full time inner city art teacher for KIPP and write part time. The Last Drop will be my first book of a scheduled trilogy.
